Site of a plantation owned by a Charles Pinckney, who not only signed but also helped create the United States Constitution. Exhibits present the story of the U.S. Constitution, the developement of a young United States and slave life on Lowcountry plantations. Museum and visitor center housed in an 1828 farmhouse. A 1/2-mile walking trail is available.
